NEW ERA TICKETS CELEBRATES TEN YEARS WITH MORE SUCCESS AND GROWTH
June 18, 2012, EXTON, PA - It’s been a great 2012 for New Era Tickets, packed with outstanding service and sales performance driving many successes and growth.
This past February, New Era Tickets experienced the largest, quickest, sellout in the company’s ten-year history while supporting ticket services for the Bruce Springsteen shows at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. “During peak demand, tickets were processed at over 1,000 tickets per minute, and more than 38,000 tickets were sold in a little over an hour,” said Dave Homan, VP & Chief Operating Officer of New Era Tickets, “At the same time, New Era Tickets was handling ticket sales for Elton John at the Roanoke Civic Center, which also sold in less than 30 minutes - it was an amazing record setting day.”
To complement the successful sellouts in Philadelphia and Roanoke, New Era Tickets announced a new business venture in the northwest. In a partnership with Tickets West, New Era Tickets will be installing their newest client, the Portland Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA). The PCPA is one of the most active centers of its kind in the US, with four performance spaces and annual attendance in excess of 500,000. Home to the Opera, Symphony and a robust Broadway Series, the PCPA will be using all the services and solutions New Era Tickets has to offer.
“We’ve just entered our tenth year of business,” said Fred Maglione President and CEO of New Era Tickets. “What better way to break into this exciting time for our company than with growth and success.”
