March 4, 2014, EXTON, PA – Larimer County and Global Spectrum, respective owners and operators of the Budweiser Events Center, renewed their partnership with New Era Tickets, the technology driven, full-service ticketing subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, to continue providing customized ticketing solutions and supporting services. The Budweiser Events Center retained New Era Tickets due to their advanced high-revenue generating ticketing technologies and high-touch customer service.

“New Era Tickets continues to optimize the ticket buying experience for our customers while maximizing revenue for Larimer County,” said Rick Hontz, Global Spectrum’s Regional VP & General Manager for the Budweiser Events Center. “New Era Tickets is a great partner due to the company’s experience, technology, and support services – even more important, they activate additional revenue opportunities by providing us with control over branding, sponsorship rights, and ticket fees.”

New Era Tickets’ customized ticketing solution for the Budweiser Events Center integrates access control management systems, wireless ticketing technology, and fraud prevention. The ticketing solution, powered by New Era Tickets’ sister company Paciolan, provides complete control over a variety of items including customer transaction fees, branding, and customer data. New Era Tickets supports each customized ticketing solution with seasoned 24/7 client service teams.

Strategically located in Loveland, Colorado, and less than an hour’s drive from Denver and Cheyenne, the Budweiser Events Center is a 7,200 seat multipurpose venue with 26 VIP suites and 776 club seats. Home to the Colorado Eagles of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), and the Colorado ICE of the Indoor Football League (IFL), the arena also hosts family shows, basketball, rodeos, trade shows, and concerts. 

Owned by Larimer County and managed by Global Spectrum, the Budweiser Events Center is part of a 374,000 square-foot fairgrounds complex called The Ranch, the official name of the new Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex. The Ranch also includes the Ranch-Way Feeds Indoor Arena, two livestock pavilions, the First National Bank Exhibition Building, and the Thomas M. McKee Building.

The Budweiser Events Center opened in September 2003, and in its first year earned a top ten ranking in Venues Today. To date, New Era Tickets and Global Spectrum helped the Budweiser Events Center process more than $6.8 million in gross ticket sales and manage 179 events with 366,700 in attendance. Both New Era Tickets and Global Spectrum are subsidiaries of the internationally recognized sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.
